Can you get amnesia and only remember a little part of your memory?

I was just wondering if somehow you got amnesia... Would it be possible to only remember part of your memory. Like maybe just little things and a few big things or only remember like two things.., is that possible? Please help... Any help or even ideas on how to get amnesia would be great! (its just for a story im doing for english by the way)Can you get amnesia and only remember a little part of your memory?

in fact, when you get amnesia you remember how to talk, to move, etc. That means you didn't erased all your memory.



Im not a doctor, but i know amnesia is just caused for an impact, that makes a wound in the brain, and that part of the brain stops working till the other parts make it be fine again and then your memory is good again.
