Is there a way to make yourself have amnesia?

Like, you know, retrograde amnesia. I don't want to remember anything that's personally happened to me over the last couple of years, but I wouldn't mind forgetting everything else prior as well.Is there a way to make yourself have amnesia?

Well, there's no safe way to be straight forward. Usually a blow to the head hard enough to cause amnesia, can, if not will cause death or mental retardation.

It seems like an odd question, but people (literary) loss there memory by hitting their heads hard. But thats very dangerous, plus most of the time its short term memory loss so I don't know how much good it'll do you.

No there is not anyway to cause amnesia. It is a serious disorder caused by either extreme emotional trauma or physical trauma, typically to the head. I suggest you go see a psychiatrist if you are feeling this way. Hope this helps
