Are there any good fiction books that are based on a main character that has amnesia?

Preferably that have discovering the main character's identity as one of the main themes of the book. Also, what are some possible issues that a person dealing with amnesia could face in the United States? ADDING: The movies' storylines are completely different from the books, actually, but the books do have loads of action in them. It's definitely my favorite book because he has amnesia and two different entities are chasing him, one trying to kill him and he thinks the other is trying to send him messages to come in, but he doesn't remember anything, so he keeps running to keep from being killed.Are there any good fiction books that are based on a main character that has amnesia?

The Raw Shark Texts by Steven Hall. It's a very bizarre but incredible book about a man whose memories are devoured by a conceptual fish.

I can't think of any right now but a YA (Young Adult) book, The Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac by Gabrielle Zevin. Eventually, she gets her memories back.
